William and Kate: What have they been up to on their Pakistan tour?

The aim of the tour has been to boost ties between Britain and the second largest country in the Commonwealth. As part of it, Prince William and Kate met with children and some cricketing legends during a visit of the National Cricket Academy. They even had a go at playing some cricket themselves - William scored a six but Kate was caught out twice!

The royal couple have also been finding out more about the impact of climate change. They spoke to environmental experts during a visit to a melting glacier in the Hindu Kush mountain range in the Chitral District of Khyber-Pakhunkwa Province.

Check out this colourful tuk tuk that William and Kate travelled in to a reception hosted by the British High Commissioner in Islamabad. William wore a traditional sherwani suit for the event.

William and Kate visited the Kalash people who live in the northwestern region of Pakistan. The Duke and Duchess were given the chance to learn more about their unique culture and heritage, and watched a traditional song and dance.

No royal tour would be complete without an invitation to a party! William and Kate joined a child's birthday celebrations at the SOS Children's village in Lahore, Pakistan. It's a charitable organisation which provides a home for boys and girls who have been orphaned. There were gifts, flowers and a big cake!

William and Kate had the opportunity to meet local school children learning about conservation in the Margalla Hills National Park. They joined in various activities including setting a leopard camera trap! They were also shown a slideshow of animals found in the park including porcupines and cape hares.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited the famous Badshahi Mosque. Prince William's mum, Princess Diana, went to the religious site when she was in the country back in 1991.

The Duke and Duchess spent time with children at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital. Kate wore a toy tiara and had a play tea party with a seven-year-old girl, while William played a fishing hook game with a little boy there.

The Duke and Duchess also met with pupils and teachers at a school in Islamabad. One of the students, 14-year-old Aima, told William that the pupils were "big fans" of his mum Princess Diana.
