Taylor Swift shakes off rumour she is buying a Scottish castle

Taylor Swift has dismissed rumours she was set to buy a luxury 拢4.6m castle in Scotland.

Reports had suggested the US singer was interested in the Tower of Lethendy, about 15 miles north of Perth.

But she has now tweeted lines about a castle from the track New Romantics, which features on her multi-million selling album 1989: "Cause baby I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me."

The singer, who is dating Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris, added: "I'm not actually buying a castle."
