Boxing golds for GB's Anthony Joshua and Luke Campbell

Team GB have won two boxing golds this weekend, with Anthony Joshua and Luke Campbell both taking victory in the ring.

Super heavyweight Joshua was behind after the first two rounds against Italy's Roberto Cammarelle.

But the Brit pulled it back in the final round. An appeal from defending champ Cammarelle was turned down.

Bantamweight Luke Campbell won gold on Saturday

Bantamweight Campbell defeated Ireland's John Joe Nevin to take gold on Saturday night.

Joshua said afterwards: "Sunday is a holy day and I have been blessed."

He added: "That medal represents my journey and the support from my team. It is much more than a gold medal, it is a life experience."

GB's Freddie Evans got silver after losing his welterweight final to Serik Sapiyev from Kazakhstan on Sunday afternoon.

New Olympic champ Luke Campbell said: "It's a day I've dreamed of for a long, long time."

The 24-year-old from Hull added: I'm lost for words. It means everything. My family, my city, everyone has been so supportive."

Team GB have won a total of five boxing medals at London 2012.

Nicola Adams got gold in the women's flyweight title on Thursday, while Anthony Ogogo bagged a bronze in the middleweight on Friday.
