Lebanon's capital, Beirut, is mourning the victims of Tuesday's huge blast, which killed more than 100, injured thousands and caused widespread destruction in the city.

There blast was felt hundreds of kilometres away in Cyprus.

Officials blame the explosion on several thousand tonnes of ammonium nitrate, stored in a warehouse for six years.

Several port officials have been placed under house arrest.
