Your pictures: Black and white
Every week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme was black and white and we start with a photograph taken by Jaime Jones.
Dana Pasca-Hossu: "Hmmm, time to cook dinner! The medley of black and white beans will become a tasty vegetarian chilli."
Erica Cooper: "A picture taken in Old Town, Maine, USA."
Davo Muttiah: "A black and white photo taken in Washington DC in the snow."
Emma Stobart: "Some people on Hampstead Heath (London) just before sunset."
Matthew Simkiss: "Taken during a concert at the Reading Festival. I like the way the black and white really accentuates the lighting of the band."
Helen Pickering: "A dandelion from my back garden. I love how the seeds show up in black and white."
Julian Baird: "The photo is called 'zzzzz' and it was taken on my mobile phone while feeling a bit tired and bored at work. I didn't purposely pick the Z to photograph, but after I looked at the picture I thought it reflected my current mood perfectly. All the image editing was done on my phone using a number of free apps."
Caroline Bennett: "A snowy field in Italy."
And finally, Craig Milner sent in this image of his moped. If you'd like to enter, send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk. Further details and terms can be seen on the photo blog; just follow the link below this gallery.
