Motorcyclist critically ill after crash in Gower, Swansea

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition following a crash in Gower, Swansea.

Emergency services were called to Llethryd Barn, near Llethryd Cotts, at about 13:35 BST on Saturday.

Police said the collision involved a motorcycle and a grey Renault Scenic.

A force spokesman said: "A 38-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries, which are described as life threatening. He remains in a critical condition."

The road, which was closed for several hours, has since reopened.

Detectives are asking people with any information to contact them.
