Man in court charged with attempted murder of woman in Llanelli

A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a 19-year-old woman was left in a critical condition following an incident in Llanelli.

Dylan Hywel Harries, 21, of Panteg, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, appeared before the town's magistrates on Monday.

He did not enter a plea and will appear at Swansea Crown Court next month.

Katrina Evemy remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Police attended a property in Graig Avenue after being called at about 17:45 BST on Thursday.
