Memorial for WW2 hillside bomb death brothers near Tywyn
A memorial stone has been put on a Gwynedd hillside to remember three young brothers who were killed in an explosion during World War Two.
It is thought Charles, 13, Christmas, 11 and Idris Evans, nine, came across an unexploded mortar bomb while on a walk near Tywyn in May 1944.
The hillside near their home was used by the Army for exercises during the war.
Their brother, Sam Evans, thanked organisers who remembered his brothers.
