Traffic wardens to get body cameras in Gwynedd
Traffic wardens are to wear body cameras to improve their personal safety in Gwynedd.
Civil Enforcement Officers, who are responsible for parking enforcement in the county, are to be issued with the cameras by Gwynedd Council.
The cameras are smaller than a mobile phone and are attached to the clothing of the enforcement officer.
The use of body-worn cameras has already been adopted by a number of other councils across the UK.
They are being trialled in Denbighshire.
