More potential development sites have been identified as Flintshire council looks to build 500 new homes, including 200 council houses, over the next five years.

A says 95 homes will be built on the flattened site of the former maisonettes in Flint.

The former Ysgol Delyn school in Mold could now earmarked for redevelopment.

The council expects to announce a partner to develop its housing schemes in May after drawing up a shortlist.

The report said sites have already been cleared for use at the former Custom House School in Connah's Quay and a rural site in Leeswood.

The council's cabinet committee is being asked to push forward plans on Tuesday.
