Swansea: Dog rescued from under kitchen by firefighters
A poodle has been rescued after getting stuck underneath a kitchen.
Firefighters were called at about 07:10 BST on Tuesday to a home in Parkmill, Swansea.
The dog, named Jock, was trapped under a property firefighters said was of "non-standard construction".
Struggling to locate the pet they called in Wales' urban search and rescue team, and crews tunnelled under the kitchen after removing patio slabs and earth at the property's rear.
The search and rescue team used cameras and equipment sometimes used in earthquakes to find the animal.
A second hole was then dug through the kitchen.
"Crews successfully managed to rescue Jock, a three-year-old black poodle, who was alive and well, and was reunited with his owner," a Mid and West Wales Fire Service spokesman said.
