Wales international rugby player Mason Grady has been fined almost 拢1,400 after admitting driving at 115mph on the M4 in south Wales.

He was travelling between junctions 35 and 34 in Bridgend county when he was clocked on 19 October - days after returning from the Rugby World Cup.

Grady, 21, admitted the offence at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Monday.

He has been named as a substitute in the Wales squad to face France in Cardiff on Sunday.

The Cardiff Rugby player has been ordered to pay a 拢915 fine, a 拢366 surcharge and 拢110 in costs.

He must pay the 拢1,391 total by the end of March.

The offence occurred days after he returned to Wales from the Rugby World Cup in France, following the team's quarter-final defeat by Argentina on 14 October.

The nine-cap international, from Rhoose, has appeared in all three of Wales' Six Nations matches this year, all as a replacement, and picked up a yellow card in their defeat by England at Twickenham.
