Swansea: Inquest suspended for woman who died in car fire
An inquest opened on Friday into the death of a 77-year-old woman following a car fire near a hospital.
Helen Clarke, of Langland, Swansea, was found in a critical condition near Singleton Hospital and died two days later on 24 September.
The coroner's court in Swansea's Guildhall heard witnesses called the police after spotting the car was smoking and parked half on the road and the pavement.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police were called to the hospital in Swansea at 08:00 BST on Friday 22 September following reports of a smoking vehicle.
Her husband David Clarke, 80, was arrested at the scene and was later charged with her murder.
Senior Coroner Colin Phillips said he was suspending the inquest until after Mr Clarke's trial.
