Statue returned to Tonypandy after 45 years
It was first unveiled in 1909, paid for by the colliers of the Rhondda.
But for the last 45 years, the Lady With The Lamp, a historic statue that stood in the town square in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, has been lying in storage.
Now the statue has returned to its home town, newly-repaired and restored.
Carwyn Jones reports.
