Woman, 91, targeted by bogus workmen
Police are appealing for information after bogus workmen targeted a 91-year-old woman in Perth.
The pensioner gave one of the men a three-figure sum of money after he offered gardening services at her Crieff Road home.
He did not return, but a few days later another man arrived claiming he required money for the work.
Police Scotland described the incident as "a despicable crime targeting an elderly person in their own home."
The incidents took place between 1 April and 10 April.
Officers said no money was exchanged in the second incident.
The first suspect was described as 5ft 9in tall with short dark hair and of average build.
The second man was tall, of average build and wore a light coloured jumper and trousers.
