A huge cannabis haul has been found in an old mill building in the Scottish Borders.
Plants with an estimated street value of 拢1.2m were discovered at the site on Dunsdale Road in Selkirk.
The drugs uncovered after a police search was carried out in the property on 21 November.
Nobody was arrested in the operation. Earlier this month another significant cannabis haul was found in a former nightclub in Galashiels.
Ch Insp Stuart Fletcher said: "Drugs cause misery in our communities and this is a significant recovery of cannabis plants.
"It is part of our ongoing work to tackle the supply of drugs across the area and keep people safe.
"We will always look to take action as a result of information about illegal substances and those responsible for their manufacture and supply."
He said local people had a "vital part to play" in tackling the issue and urged anyone with information or concerns to get in touch.
