Man charged over suspicious death in Inverness

Police at the scene of John Birrell's death in Inverness
A 65-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of another man in Inverness.
Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in Leachkin Hill Road at about 18:00 on Monday. John Birrell, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are treating the incident as a suspicious death following a post-mortem examination.
The arrested man is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
