John Caldwell: Three released in attempted murder inquiry
Three men arrested in connection with the attempted murder of Det Ch Insp John Caldwell have been released.
Mr Caldwell was off duty when he was shot several times in Omagh, County Tyrone, in February 2023.
The men - aged 32, 48 and 49 - were questioned under the Terrorism Act after a number of properties were searched and a number of items, including a vehicle, were seized.
All three will be reported to the Public Prosecution Service.
Police said the investigation continued.
