A significant amount of cash has been stolen from a filling station in County Armagh, police have said.

The burglary on the Carrickasticken Road, near Forkhill, happened between 01:45 and 03:30 GMT on Friday.

Three masked men broke into a kiosk, stealing a significant amount of cash and police believe a safe was accessed with a grinder.

Officers have also released details of two other burglaries on Friday.

In Comber, County Down, two men with their faces covered threatened a woman and her dog at a house in Hillside Park at about 19:00.

Police said the woman endured a "terrifying ordeal" as she was ordered to open a safe.

The men left with jewellery and cash.
