Two men have plead not guilty to the murder of Robbie Lawlor in Belfast almost four years ago.

Mr Lawlor, believed to have been involved in organised crime in the Republic, was shot dead outside a house in Ardoyne on 4 April 2020.

Patrick Teer, 48, from Woodleigh Terrace in Derry, and Adrian Holland, 40, have denied his murder.

Both Mr Holland and Mr Teer also plead not guilty to charges of conspiracy to murder and a firearms offence.

They were accused of possessing a 9mm self-loading pistol with intent.

Appearing before Mr Justice O'Hara at Belfast Crown Court, the two men were told that their trial is expected to last up to eight weeks.

The judge added that he anticipated the hearing will be held in the autumn.

Following their arraignment on Friday, both Mr Holland and Mr Teer were released on continuing bail.
