Belfast: Two charged after man stabbed with a hatchet
Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed with a hatchet during an attack at a house in north Belfast.
The incident happened at Northwick Drive some time between 00:01 BST and 03:00 on Saturday, said police.
The man who was injured is in his 40s.
A number of windows and the front door of the property were damaged.
Two men, aged 28 and 29, were arrested on Sunday morning.
They have since been charged with aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.
They are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday.
