A man has died after a lorry and a motorcycle collided in Newtownards, County Down, on Thursday afternoon.

The crash, which happened on the Bangor Road, was reported to police at about 13:15 GMT.

Police have appealed for information and urged anyone who may have captured dash-cam footage of the incident to contact them.

The Bangor Road was closed following the crash but has now reopened. The man's name has not yet been released.
