A security alert in Londonderry which led to a number of people having to leave their homes has ended.
It followed the discovery of a suspicious object in the Glen Road area of the city shortly after 09:30 GMT on Monday, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.
Officers added the object was "nothing untoward" and that it has been taken away for further examination.
Residents have now returned to their homes.
PSNI Insp Craig thanked the local community, "in particular those who were directly affected, for their cooperation and assistance as we worked to keep people safe".
