A man arrested over the murder of a man in north Belfast just before Christmas has been released unconditionally.

Paschal 'Basil' McAfee's body was found by his mother at a house in Henderson Avenue, off the Cavehill Road, on 20 December.

A 54-year-old man was arrested in east Belfast on Monday morning.

The police said he was released on Monday evening.

Mr McAfee - who had two children - had only recently moved into the area.
