Sudbury man attacked outside White Horse Pub, police say

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was believed to have been "seriously assaulted".

The incident occurred between 22:10 and 22:20 GMT outside the White Horse Pub in North Street, Sudbury, on Saturday.

The victim's head was punched, kicked and stamped on, causing him to lose consciousness and sustain a broken nose, Suffolk Police said.

Officers are looking for three white males who fled the scene, all believed to be aged in their 20s.

The first suspect was described as 5ft 6in tall (1.7m) with dark hair and wearing a black tracksuit with a white stripe, black trainers and glasses.

The second man was also estimated to be about 5ft 6in tall (1.7m), and wearing a grey Nike tracksuit.

The third was about 5ft 10in tall (1.8m) with dark hair, wearing a white baseball cap, white t-shirt and a black gilet.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or has information has been asked to contact Suffolk Police.
