Ipswich police arrest man suspected of carrying imitation gun
A man has been arrested by police on suspicion of carrying an imitation firearm.
Police were called to Ipswich town centre at 09:00 GMT to reports a man was seen to put what appeared to be a gun in his pocket.
Officers detained a 44-year-old man in Lloyds Avenue 10 minutes later.
An imitation firearm was seized, officers said, and the man was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
