Man admits raping two-year-old girl
A man has admitted raping a two-year-old girl and dozens of other sexual offences.
Daniel Kilbee, 34, of Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire, carried out 30 sex crimes against six victims between 1997 and 2015.
During two trials in July and August he was found guilty of sexual assault and sexual activity with a child.
He pleaded guilty to 27 further crimes including rape and making indecent images of children.
At a five-day trial, which started on 18 July, Kilbee was found guilty of indecent assault against a girl under 16, sexual activity with a girl under 13, and two counts of indecency with a girl under 16.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, sexual assault against a woman in her 20s, and six counts of making indecent images of children.
'Terrible ordeal'
At a second trial on 1 August, Kilbee admitted offences against a five-year-old girl between December 2012 and March 2013.
These were three counts of rape, two counts of inciting or causing a child to engage in sexual activity, attempted rape, and three counts of sexual assault.
Earlier this year Kilbee also pleaded guilty to indecency with a child, indecent assault, and six counts of making indecent images of children.
Det Con Tania Wasilewski-Norman said: "I would like to thank the victims and their families for their bravery in what has been an extremely harrowing experience for them.
"I would like to also thank our partners, particularly in child social care at Oxford County Council, for supporting us and the victims through this terrible ordeal."
Kilbee will be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on 22 September.
