Two more people have been charged over thefts involving cash machines.

A Nottinghamshire Police investigation began after "cash trap" devices were fitted to machines in Sneinton Dale and Bramcote, in Nottingham, as well as in other parts of the UK.

Thousands of pounds were stolen using the devices between May and July 2023.

Two men were earlier charged with conspiring to steal from another and now two more, all from Barnsley, have been charged with the same offence.

Other incidents were reported in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and Scotland, police said.

The four men, all in their 30s, have also been charged with concealing/disguising/converting/transferring/removing criminal property.

All have been bailed ahead of further court appearances.
