Afsor Ali found guilty of terror information offences
A man arrested while trying to board a Eurostar train has been found guilty of having information that could be used for terrorism.
Afsor Ali, 27, from Bethnal Green, was convicted of possessing electronic files on how to participate in Jihad.
He was also found guilty by jurors at the Old Bailey of having copies of an online magazine issued by Al Qaeda.
At the start of the trial, he pleaded guilty of being in possession of someone else's passport.
He had been detained at St Pancras station where he was trying to board a train to Paris.
Ali has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced on Tuesday.
