Are you on incapacity benefit? Have you received a letter inviting you for a reassessment of your ability to work?

Thousands of people on incapacity benefit are receiving such letters. The new assessments are part of government plans to reduce the number of long-term claimants in a rolling programme through to 2014.

The drive is part of its efforts to drive down the welfare bill by ensuring all those able to work are looking for employment.

Have you received a reassessment letter? Are you about to appeal against an earlier decision? If so, we'd like to hear from you. This is now closed.
