Bike stolen after Grimsby cyclist knocked over by car
A cyclist who was knocked over by a car had his bike stolen as members of the public were trying to help him.
The man was hit by a passing car on Eleanor Street in Grimsby on Friday at about 10:10 BST, police said.
The cyclist suffered minor injuries and passers-by were helping him when his electric mountain bike was taken.
Humberside Police said "the road traffic collision and theft are believed to be entirely unrelated to one another".
Officers are appealing for witnesses and any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident.
