A Hampshire street has been named after the captain of the ship which sailed to the aid of the stricken RMS Titanic in 1912.
Captain Arthur H Rostron diverted the Carpathia to pick up survivors when Titanic sank in the north Atlantic.
He spent his final years in West End, near Southampton, where Rostron Close was unveiled in a new housing development.
A 拢15m museum dedicated to Titanic is due to open in Southampton next year.
