Westbury-on-Severn crash: Man dies after being hit by a van

A 41-year-old man has died after being hit by a van on a main road in Gloucestershire.
Emergency services were called to the A48 in Westbury-on-Severn at about 00:30 BST on Monday after reports a pedestrian had collided with a vehicle.
The man, from the Forest of Dean, was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the van uninjured.
The road remains closed between the A4151 Elton Road and the A40 at Highnam.
Gloucestershire Police have asked witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to get in touch.
