Snake Pass: Peak District route closes for pothole repairs
- Published
The A57 Snake Pass, in Derbyshire, has closed due to "essential" road repairs, the county council said.
A section of the route, between Bamford and Glossop, closed on Wednesday from 08:30 GMT to 15:30 GMT for pothole repairs and surface patching repairs.
The council said it was working as "quickly as [it] can" but might need to close the route through the Peak District again on Thursday.
Diversions are in place but access remains to residents and businesses.
Snake Pass is "one of the many sites" being resurfaced across the county, according to the council.
