Police want to speak to three men seen near the home of a Cambridgeshire pensioner on the night she is thought to have been killed.

Una Crown, 86, was found dead in her home on Magazine Lane in Wisbech and the three men were seen between 23:30 and 23:45 GMT on Saturday 12 January.

The pensioner's body was found at 10:45 GMT the following day. She had not been seen since the Friday morning.

A post-mortem examination revealed she died from stab wounds.

Her clothing had been set on fire following her death in an apparent effort to cover up her injuries and destroy evidence.

A friend had spoken to her by telephone at about 17:00 GMT on the Saturday.

Det Ch Insp Jon Hutchinson said: "We are very keen to identify these three men who were seen in the area of Magazine Lane as they may hold vital information which could help our investigation."

A £10,000 reward has been offered by the charity Crimestoppers for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder.
