The land on Paradise Street in Bradford city centre could become industrial space

An overgrown and fly-tipped plot of land in Bradford could be transformed into warehouse units.

The wasteland, located on Paradise Street between a temple and garages, is in the Goitside Conservation Area of the city centre.

An application has been submitted to turn the space into five industrial units that aim to "match" buildings in the surrounding area.

A decision on the application is expected in April.

The plans were submitted to Bradford Council by Mohammed Saeed, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

The site is near to one of the planned "City Village" residential development locations that will see houses build on underused car parks near Paradise Street.
