A fathers' rights campaigner who has spent 20 years climbing public structures dressed as a superhero has been jailed for a year.
David Chick, 57, had a stand-off with emergency services after climbing a crane in Milton Keynes on 9 September.
On Thursday, a jury at Aylesbury Crown Court convicted him of intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance.
Chick, of Bozeat, Northamptonshire, was also convicted of possessing an imitation firearm in a public place.
Chick had also been cleared after climbing a crane near Tower Bridge, London
The Hillside Close resident was cleared of having an an article with a blade or point.
In 2004, Chick was cleared of causing a public nuisance after he spent six days on a 150ft (46m) crane, .
At the time he said he was protesting at not being allowed to see his daughter.
In 2005 he was cleared of causing a public nuisance after spending 18 hours on top of the London Eye.
Chick had told police, , his demonstration was in accordance with his rights under the Human Rights Act.
