Wolverhampton: New Poundland store could create more jobs

A new Poundland store is set to open creating up to 50 new jobs.
The discount store will move into premises previously occupied by ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Bargains in the retail park at Bentley Bridge, Wednesbury.
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Bargains is remaining at Bentley Bridge but has moved to units formerly occupied by Argos and Laura Ashley.
Wednesfield North councillor Phil Bateman said it showed Bentley Bridge was still thriving.
The area is home to a multi-screen cinema, gym, bowling alley, variety of food and drink outlets and more than 20 major retail stores.
The park employs more than 500 people in all and has an average of 8,000 to 10,000 visitors daily.
