The head of the army, General Sir Richard Dannatt, has paid tribute to the armed forces after a weekend where five more British troops were killed in Afghanistan, taking the death toll to 204. British forces spokesman in Afghanistan, Lieutenant Colonel Nick Richardson, says moral among British soldiers serving out there is still high, despite the deaths.
