'It's very sad': Ladbroke Grove locals react to shootingpublished at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November
During the press conference, the Metropolitan Police assured residents in Ladbroke Grove that police would remain in the area while investigations into the shooting continue.
But some, like Sharon, whose testimony we reported earlier, still feel concerned about their safety.
One woman, who didn't want to be named, told the PA News Agency that she was "scared" after the shooting took place on Sunday.
She describes how she was cooking and thought fireworks were being let off, before she discovered what happened when armed police arrived.
Another local, Muraad Haab, did not see the attack, but said he'd seen three shootings since living there.
Long-time resident Lloyd Markham tells PA that the area had seemed like a "safe place to live" during the last 25 years he has spent there, but he says the news of the shooting concerns him.
"It's very sad. Why fire a gun with kids around? How can you do that to someone?" he adds.
We're ending our live coverage now, but you can keep up with the latest on the shooting in our main story.
