Madonna's MDNA tops UK album chart
Madonna's latest album, MDNA, has entered the UK charts at number one - the 12th chart-topper of her career.
It makes her the most successful solo artist in UK album chart history, ahead of Elvis Presley's 11 number ones.
Her single, Give Me All Your Luvin', had debuted at only 37 in February.
Meanwhile, New York tenor Noah Stewart's debut album, Noah, was the second highest new entry at 14. He also became the first black artist to top the UK classical album chart.
Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot described Stewart's achievement as "truly groundbreaking".
"Noah is sure to become a familiar name for years to come following this landmark breakthrough."
Last week's number one album, Paul Weller's Sonic Kicks, dropped to 10th spot.
In the Official Singles Chart, Chris Brown's Turn Up the Music went straight to number one, making it the most successful single of his UK career.
It meant Katy Perry's Part Of Me slipped off the top of the chart to number four.
