Teenager faces police officer murder bid charge
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a car was allegedly driven at a police officer on Inverness High Street.
Police were on foot patrol in the early hours of 10 March when they attempted to stop a grey Subaru Outback.
The vehicle failed to comply and was then driven at one of the officers. The officer, who was forced to take evasive action, was uninjured.
Police said the youth would be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the incident.
