Motorbike passenger seriously injured in crash

A motorcycle pillion passenger has received potentially life-changing injuries after a crash in Plymouth, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said they were called at about 15:30 GMT on Friday to the B3250 Mannamead Road, to reports of a crash involving a white Ford Transit van and a silver Honda motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider and pillion passenger were both taken to hospital for treatment, with the pillion suffering potentially life-changing injuries, officers said.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene, and police are appealing for anyone with information or dash-cam footage to make contact.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team have thanked the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
