Eight injured in double-decker bus and car crash

Eight people have been injured in a crash involving a double-decker bus and car near Sarre, with one airlifted to hospital.
South East Coast Ambulance Service said one person with "more serious injuries" has been flown to King's College Hospital in London for treatment.
Another seven people have been taken to hospital by road.
Motorists have been asked to avoid Canterbury Road following the collision at A28 Island Road, which was reported to Kent Police shortly after 12:00 BST on Friday.
Canterbury Road is closed between Upstreet and Birchington Square where emergency services, including three fire engines, police, paramedics and the air ambulance, are responding to the incident.
Stagecoach South East said its 8/8A and 8X services will be diverting via Herne and the A299 to St-Nicolas-at-Wade due to the crash.
