Man pleads guilty to pub attack killing

A 26-year-old has admitted killing a man who was attacked in a pub.

Carl James, 42, was injured at the Jack and Jill in Crossfell Road, Middlesbrough, at about 18:00 BST on 11 May.

Mr James, from the town, was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Curtis Tudor, of Welburn Grove, Ormesby, pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Teesside Crown Court on Tuesday. He is due to be sentenced at the same court on 28 November.
