Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they investigate the murder of a man in Illogan, Cornwall.

Devon & Cornwall Police said ambulance services were called to reports of a seriously injured man at an address on Bosmeor Park early on Tuesday morning.

They said the man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin had been informed.

Det Insp Rob Smith, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: "If there is anyone who has not yet spoken with our officers and has any information, CCTV, or doorbell footage from in and around the immediate area of Bosmeor Park, we would ask them to please get in touch."

Three people - a woman, aged 61, and two men aged 22 and 38 - have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Officers said they remained in police custody, were all local to the area and it was believed they knew each other.

Another woman, 32, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released under investigation.

Det Insp Rob Smith, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said the team was "keeping an open mind" to the circumstances surrounding the incident.

He said: "We would also urge people not to speculate on social media about the circumstances around this matter."

The force said people should expected a heightened police presence in the area as inquiries continued.
