Two arrested after nightclub brawl involving 50 people
Two men have been arrested following a disturbance involving about 50 people at a nightclub in Bradbury Place, south Belfast.
Five police officers were injured during the incident.
Police received a report that a fight had broken out in the nightclub shortly after 02:00 GMT on Sunday.
Those involved had been removed from the club by security before the police arrived but the fight was continuing on the street, police said.
The disturbance continued for a "sustained period".
Police Service of Northern Ireland Ch Insp Claire Hamilton asked anyone who filmed the disturbance or witnessed it to get in touch with police.
"We want Belfast to be a safe and enjoyable destination for a night out for bar and night club patrons and it should be said that this disturbance is not typical of our night time economy," she said.
The men who were arrested remain in custody.
A number of community resolution notices were also issued.
