Man charged with possession of knife in public

A 41-year-old man has been charged with possession of a knife in public.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to Gloucester Road, Bristol, on 21 August at about 11:20 BST following reports of a person with a knife.
Jade Thomson, of Jamaica Street, was arrested and later charged in connection with the incident. He has been released on bail, police said.
Mr Thomson is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court on 17 September.
