Brazier in yard led to campervan firm fire

A large fire at a Derbyshire campervan business was started by accident, investigators have concluded.
Crews from 13 fire stations across the county and neighbouring Nottinghamshire were called to the blaze off High Street in Loscoe, near Heanor, on 30 July at about 12:00 BST.
Flames and plumes of black smoke could be seen coming from the Taylor Lane business, opposite the former Loscoe Chilled Foods factory, and people living nearby were urged to keep their doors and windows closed.
An investigation into the cause of the fire has now determined the most likely cause to be accidental, due to the use of a metal burner close to combustible materials in the yard.
This then spread to the firm鈥檚 main building.
Everybody at the premises managed to get out before firefighters arrived, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said at the time.
One dog was rescued from the building and administered oxygen by fire crews at the scene.
Roads in the area were closed by police, including access to the nearby tip site.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used main jets and hose reel jets to put out the fire, leaving the site at about 07:50 the following day.
