Busy road closed after serious crash

A busy road has been closed for several hours after a serious crash.
Thames Valley Police said the A421 in Buckinghamshire was shut in both directions at about 20:30 GMT on Monday between Milton Keynes and Buckingham.
It was closed between the junctions for Whaddon and Nash.
It reopened at about 02:00, the force added.
